Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tomat (Lycopersicum Esculentum Mill.) Dalam Kombinasi Pupuk NPK, Kompos Padat Dan Aplikasi Biologis
The aims of this study were to determine the effect of the application of NPK and biological organic fertilizers and to obtain the best dosage for the growth and production of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.). Research was conducted at the UPT Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This research was a non-factorial experiment arranged according to a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments; 100% NPK fertilizer (375 kg.ha-1), 75% NPK fertilizer (281 kg.ha-1) + 100% solid compost (20 t.ha-1), 75% NPK fertilizer (281 kg.ha-1) + 100% solid compost (20 t.ha-1) + biological fertilizer (10 ml per plant), 50% NPK fertilizer (188 kg.ha-1) + 100% solid compost (20 t.ha-1) + biological fertilizer (10 ml per plant), 25% NPK fertilizer (94 kg.ha-1) + 100% solid compost (20 t.ha-1) + biological fertilizer (10 ml per plant). The data obtained were analyzed statistically using variance and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, harvesting age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot. The combination of 100% NPK (281 kg.ha-1) with 20 t.ha-1 solid compost and 10 ml of biological fertilizer per plant can reduce the application of NPK as much 25% and increase the growth and production of tomato plants.
Keywords: solid compost, biological, growth, production, tomato.
