Uji Konsentrasi Cendawan Entomopatogen Metarhizium anisopliae Isolat Sawah Lokal Riau Terhadap Mortalitas Wereng Batang Padi Coklat (Nilaparvata lugens Stal.) Di Laboratorium
The brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal.) is the main pest of rice plants, its attack can cause hopperburn and viruses vector. Environmentally friendly brown planthopper control uses an entomopathogenic fungus is isolate rice fields Riau local Metarhizium anisopliae. This isolate was obtained from rice plants in Kampar, Riau. The research was to aims to get the best concentration and the right concentration in killing the brown planthopper. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pests, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from
July 2022 until February 2023. The research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with six treatments and four replications. The treatment was the isolate rice fields Riau local M. anisopliae concentration of
0, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 g.l-1 aquades so that 24 experimental units were obtained. The parameters for observation were identification of isolate rice fields local Riau M. anisopliae, the changing behavior and morphology, initial time of death (hours), lethal time 50 (hours), lethal concentration (LC50 and LC95), daily mortality (%) and total mortality (%). The results of the research concentration of 40 g.l-1 aquades (0,90 x 106 kon.ml-1) is the best concentration because it can cause a total mortality of 72,50%, the initial time of death is 163,50 hours after application and the lethal time 50 206,25 hours after application. The right concentration in killing 50%
of pests is 2,11% and the concentration of 95% in killing pests is 10,45%.
