Pemberian Pupuk NPKMg dan Interval Air terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di Pembibitan Main Nursery
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of NPKMg fertilizer and water as well as the interaction of the two to obtain the best dose and interval of administration of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in the main nursery nursery. This study was conducted experimentally using a complete randomized design (RAL) factorial. The first factor is fertilizer NPKMg (P) (12:12:17:2) with levels of P1 = dose of 5 g per plant, P2 = dose of 10 g per plant, P3 = dose of 15 g per plant, P4 = dose of 20 g per plant, P5 = dose of 25 g per plant. The second factor is the provision of water with different intervals (A) with levels, namely A1 = provision of water 1 day, A2 = provision of water 2 days, A3 = provision of Water 3 days. The parameters observed were plant height, weevil circumference, leaf width, leaf length, number of midrib, root dry weight and seedling dry weight. The Data obtained were statistically analyzed using variety analysis and further tested with Duncan's multiple distance test at 5% using SPSS application. The results showed that the application of inorganic fertilizer NPKMg 25 g per polybag was able to increase the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. The interaction of NPKMg fertilizer with a dose of 25 g per polybag and giving water once every 2 days per polybag gives the best results on the growth of oil palm seedlings.
