Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus) Dengan Menyediakan Kompos Tandan Kelapa Sawit Kosong Dan Pupuk NPK
This study aims to determine the interaction effect of providing empty oil palm fruit bunch compost (TKKS) and NPK fertilizer, the effect of providing empty oil palm fruit bunches (TKKS), the effect of providing NPK fertilizer and getting the best treatment on the growth and yield of okra plants. The research was carried out experimentally in the form of a 4 x 3 factorial completely randomized design (CRD) which was repeated 3 times. The first factor is the TKKS compost dosage which consists of 4 levels (0, 5, 10, 15) t.ha-1. The second factor, namely the NPK fertilizer dosage, consists of 3 levels (0, 150, 225) kg.ha-1. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with analysis of variance and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of TKKS compost and NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on all treatments, the provision of TKKS compost had a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter and number of fruit per plant. Providing NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter and number of fruits per okra plant. The combination of giving 10 t.ha-1 TKKS compost and 150 kg.ha-1 NPK is the best dose for the growth and yield of okra plants.
