Star fruit is a fruit plant that is very popular and known to many people. Star fruit cultivation is still experiencing problems, including pests and diseases in the field. The main pest that attacks star fruit plants is fruit fly Bactrocera spp. The implementation of pest control of fruit fly Bactrocera spp. by using botanical insecticides from lime leaf (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle). The aim of the study was to obtain an effective concentration of lime leaf extract on the mortality of the fruit fly Bactrocera spp. in the laboratory. The research was conducted at the laboratory of Plant Pests, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This study was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications, so there are 24 experimental units. The treatment was given lime leaf (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) extract concentration with a concentration of 0 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 40 g.l-1 water, 60 g.l-1 water, 80 g.l-1 water, and 100 g.l-1 water. The results showed that the application of lime leaf (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) extract at a concentration of 40 g.l-1 water was an effective concentration in controlling of the fruit fly Bactrocera carambolae
with a total mortality of 80% with an initial time of death of 8.25 hours after application and a lethal time of 50 for 21.25 hours after application.
