Uji Pengambatan Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder Bacillus subtilis Endofit Asal Tanaman Kelapa Sawit Sebagai Antijamur Rigidoporus microporus Penyebab Penyakit Jamur Akar Putih pada Tanaman Karet
This research aims to obtain the best B. subtilis endophyte from oil palm as an antifungal against R. microporus which causes white root fungus disease in rubber plants. This research was carried out at the Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University at the Bina Widya Campus Km 12.5, Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications to obtain 24 experimental units. The treatments tested were as follows: B1: B. subtilis isolate from oil palm roots 1 B2: B. subtilis isolate from oil palm roots 3 B3: B. subtilis isolate from oil palm trunk 1 B4: B. subtilis isolate from oil palm stems 3 B5: B. subtilis isolate from oil palm fronds 2 B6: B. subtilis isolate from oil palm fronds 3 The results of the analysis of variance were continued by further testing the honest real difference (BNJ) at the 5% level to compare the means between treatments. The parameters observed were the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics of the microporus fungus, the antagonistic ability of
B. subtilis endophytic bacteria from oil palm plants against R. microporus. percentage of antifungal inhibition of R. microporus growth, R. microporus growth speed in vitro secondary metabolite compounds of B. subtilis have antifungal inhibitory capabilities against R. microporus B. subtilis B6 isolate (B. subtilis from oil palm frond 3) showed the best ability to suppress R. microporus.
Keywords: B. subtilis, R. microporus, white root fungus, secondary metabolite.
