This research discusses about women who in their lives have activities as the main breadwinner role of the family and the role of taking care of the household in Kampung Bandar. The main purpose of this research is to determine the activities of the main breadwinner women in carrying out public roles and domestic roles, also to find out about the obstacles faced by women in Kampung Bandar in carrying out their dual roles. The research method is carried out qualitatively descriptively with data collection techniques in observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The subject of this research were the women who being the main breadwinners of the family and had dependents, so that six women were obtained using the snowball technique. Results of research in the field can be concluded that women who are the main breadwinners of families in Kampung Bandar have two activities, as public roles and domestic roles. Public role activities are productive activities that earn money that used for needs of his family. While domestic role activities are role in taking care of the household, from the results of research founded that three of the informants performed the role alone and the another three informants performed the role along with other family members or also use the help of substitute agents in performing their roles. In carrying out her dual role, the women experiences obstacle such something as pressure from the workplace that make the women feels difficulty in the role of household and the women also feel difficulties in time division.
