Prarancangan Pabrik Anilin Proses Hidrogenasi Katalitik Dengan Desain Utama Nitrobenzene Vaporizer (E-101)
Aniline is an organic compound which is included in the aromatic compounds with the molecular formula C6H5NH2 in the form of a colorless oily liquid which has a characteristic sweet amine odor. Aniline is used as an initial raw material for synthesizing dyes, a raw material for the synthesis of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), and is also used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, the production of herbicides, pesticides and medicines. The vapor phase catalytic hydrogenation process is the process chosen to produce aniline from nitrobenzene and hydrogen in an aniline plant. The aniline factory, which will be established in 2025 and start operating in 2028, is planned to have the form of a limited liability company with the name PT AniMa Indonesia. The aniline factory owned by PT AniMa Indonesia is planned to have 218 employees (shift and non-shift) and operate 330 days per year and 24 hours per day with a production capacity of 20,000 tons/year and is located on Jalan America, Citangkil District, Cilegon City, Banten Province. An organizational structure with a line and staff system is considered the most suitable for the PT AniMa Indonesia aniline factory. The main tool is a nitrobenzene vaporizer (E-101) which functions to evaporate nitrobenzene feed as raw material for making aniline, has a 1-2 shell and tube vaporizer type with a diameter of 15.625 in. (0.397 m) and a length of 96 in. (2,438 m). Based on calculations and analysis results that have been carried out at the design stage, it can be concluded that the PT AniMa Indonesia aniline factory is feasible to be established with a net present value (NPV) of IDR 388,236,209,267, a return on investment (ROI) of 35,617 %, payback period (PBP) for 2 years 3 months, internal rate of return (IRR) of 22.729%, and breakeven point (BEP) of 45.417%.
