Tourism Destination Recommendation System Using Collaborative Filtering and Location-Based Filtering. This research develops a tourism destination recommendation system that integrates collaborative filtering and location-based filtering methods to enhance recommendation accuracy. Collaborative filtering is employed to generate recommendations based on user behavior patterns by comparing their preferences with those of other users. Meanwhile, location-based filtering is used to filter tourism destinations based on the user's location, considering the distance between the user and the suggested destinations. The system aims to provide more personalized and relevant recommendations, enhancing the user experience in planning travel. Implementation and testing of the system are conducted to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the proposed methods. The results indicate that this approach can produce more accurate and contextual recommendations, opening up potential for further integration with recommendation technologies in the tourism industry. This research contributes positively to the development of tourism destination recommendation systems that synergize two distinct methods.
