Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Bawang Bawang (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Diaplikasikan Dengan Kompos Padat Kelapa Sawit Dan Pupuk Mikro Makanan
This research aims to study the interaction effect and the main effect of applying palm oil solid compost and compound micro fertilizer and get the best combination that produces the highest growth and yield of shallot plants. This research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was palm oil solid compost consisting of 3 levels (0, 5 and 10 t.ha-1) and the second factor was compound microfertilizer consisting of 3 levels (0, 70 and 140 g.ha-1), each combination was three times replication. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per clump, tuber diameter, fresh tuber weight per clump, shelf-worthy tuber weight per clump and production per m2. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance and further tested with the Duncan’s new multiple range test (DNMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that there was no interaction between the application of palm oil solid compost and compound micro fertilizer. The combination of palm oil solid compost at a dose of 10 t.ha-1 and compound micro fertilizer at a dose of 140 g.ha-1 gave the highest results in the number of leaves, tuber diameter, fresh tuber weight per clump, shelf-worthy tuber weight per clump and production per m2. The application of palm oil solid compost at a dose of 10 t.ha-1 gave the highest results in plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per clump, tuber diameter, fresh tuber weight per clump, shelf-worthy tuber weight per clump and production per m2. Application of compound micro fertilizer at a dose of 140 t.ha-1 gave the highest results in plant height, tuber diameter and production per m2.
