Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Powerpoint Pada Materi Geometri Bangun Ruang Di Sekolah Dasar
This study aims to develop a suitable PowerPoint-based instructional media on the topic of curved-sided solid geometry for elementary school students. It is a research and development (R&D) study utilizing the three-phase Plomp development model, consisting of the preliminary research phase, the development or prototyping phase, and the assessment phase. The preliminary research phase was conducted with fifth-grade students at SDN 147 Pekanbaru during the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. Data collection techniques included interview sheets, validation questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires. Data analysis employed descriptive qualitative analysis to assess feedback provided by expert validators and to guide improvements to the media based on validation scores. The results of the media validity test indicate that the instructional media is highly valid, scoring 0.88. The media development is deemed highly valid as it meets assessment criteria related to content, presentation, and language. Following a small-group usability test, it can be concluded that the instructional media is highly effective, with a 94.5% score based on feedback from teachers and students. This demonstrates the suitability of the instructional media for use by teachers and students. Based on the validity and practicality results, it can be inferred that the PowerPoint-based instructional media on curved-sided solid geometry for elementary school is valid and highly practical.
