Persepsi Mahasiswa Tentang Penggunaan E-Logbook Dalam Monitoring Pembelajaran Pada Kepaniteraan Come FK Unri

COME clerkship of the Faculty of Medicine, Riau University is one of the
clinical clerks that is carried out outside the urban area. E-logbook is one of the
learning monitoring media in the COME Clerkship. E-logbook functions as a
record of students' daily learning activities. This study aimed to determine student
perceptions of the use of e-logbooks in monitoring learning in the COME Clerkship.
The research method used was mixed quantitative and qualitative with convergent
parallel design. The research sample included students of the Faculty of Medicine,
Riau University who had participated in the COME Clerkship in the period June to
July 2023 and October to November 2023. The results showed that all students'
perceptions of the use of e-logbooks in monitoring learning were in the good and
moderate categories. Student perceptions regarding the usability of the e-logbook
were at grade C, acceptability was "marginal," and the adjective was "OK." The
main obstacle to using the e-logbook was the errors that were sometimes found when
uploading documentation. The main benefit of using the e-logbook was that it helped
students achieve learning objectives and maintain the efficiency of student activities. The
main advantage of using the e-logbook was easy access, as it could be accessed anywhere
and anytime, as long as the communication device was connected to the internet. However,
the main disadvantage was the dependency on internet connectivity. The main
recommendation from the informant was to implement the e-logbook in the COME
Clerkship to replace the conventional paper-based logbook.
