Evaluasi Daya Hasil Dua Belas Genotipe Tanaman Cabai (Capsicum Annuum L.) Di Lahan Gambut
This study aims to determine the yield ability of twelve genotypes of chili plants.
This study was a randomized block design with 12 genotypes and three replications,
resulting in 36 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 20 plants
and 10 plants were taken as samples. Data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA
using SAS 9.00 software and further tested using Dunnett at the 5% level. The
results of the analysis of variance of large chili peppers showed that the F value on
the characters of fruit stalk length, fruit diameter and number of fruits per plant had
a very significant effect and the thickness of fruit flesh and fruit weight per plant
had a significant effect. Genotypes CG22 and CG25 have a significantly greater
number of fruits per plant than the comparison varieties and CG25 has a
significantly heavier fruit weight per plant than the Gada F1 variety. The results of
the analysis of variance of curly chili showed the F value on the characters of plant
height, dichotomous height and number of fruits per plant had a very significant
effect and weight per fruit and fruit stalk length had a significant effect. Genotype
CG30 has a weight per fruit that is significantly heavier than the two comparison
varieties and the weight of fruit per plant is significantly heavier than the Kastilo
variety. Genotype CG46 has a fruit stalk length that is significantly longer than the
Kastilo variety. The results of the analysis of variance of cayenne pepper showed
that the F value on the character of plant height and dichotomous height had a very
significant effect and the number of fruits per plant had a significant effect.
Genotype CG40 has a significantly greater number of fruits per plant than the two
comparison varieties and genotype CG42 has a significantly greater number of
fruits per plant than the Bara variety.
