Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Bacillus SUBTILIS Endofit Asal Tanaman Kelapa Sawit Pada Tanaman Jahe Dalam Mengendalikan Serangan Ralstonia SOLANACEARUM
This study aimed to achieve better B. subtilis concentrations to controlling R. solanacearum and to inducing resistance ginger caused by R. solanacearum infestation. The research was conducted at the Plant Pathology Laboratory, Soil Laboratory, and the Experimental Farm Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru. The research was conducted experimentally from January 2023 to May 2023 and arranged in a completely randomized design, consisted of five treatments and four replications. The treatments were: no application of B. subtilis, B. subtilis at concentrations of 107 cells.ml-1, 108 cells.ml-1, 109 cells.ml-1, 1010 cells.ml-1. Data were analyzed with analysis of variance and to compare the mean between treatments, Duncan’s new multiple range test (DNMRT) at a 5% significance level were applied. The research indicated that B. subtilis could increase the infection rate of R. solanacearum and ginger plants height. The application of B. subtilis at 1010 cells.ml-1 resulted in a decreasing in disease infection (37.50%), and a smaller AUDPC value (28.12), and a higher salicylic acid content in plant.
