Sistem Pewarisan Sifat Agronomis Dan Komponen Hasil Pada Populasi Tanaman Kedelai [Glycine Max (L.) Merrill.]
This study aims to determine the inheritance system of various agronomic characters and yield components of soybean plant populations, so that it can be determined which characters are well used to conduct indirect selection on various yield components in a soybean population. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with treatment is a variety consisting of 13 varieties of soybeans and three repetitions, thus obtaining 39 experimental units. The characters observed included flowering age, plant height, leaf area index 35 HST, number of primary branches per plant, harvest age, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant, seed yield per m2, 100 seed weight and harvest index. The data obtained will be analyzed using the SAS Program Version 9.0.0. Variance components and heritability were then determined, and genetic correlation and indirect selection response were calculated. The results showed that the characters with wide genetic diversity and high heritability were flowering age, plant height, leaf area index 35 HST, number of primary branches per plant, harvest age, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, seed yield per m2 and 100 seed weight. There are characters that are significantly correlated with seed yield per m² with high genetic correlation values. The results of indirect selection response showed that the characters number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant and seed weight per plant can be used to increase seed yield per m2.
