Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Konten Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel Dengan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa Fase D
This study aims to develop teaching materials for two-variable linear equation systems applying a realistic mathematics approach to facilitate the mathematical understanding skills of phase D students that meet the valid and practical criteria. This research uses the 4-D model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. To assess the validity of teaching materials, a validation process was carried out involving three experts. Data related to the practicality of teaching materials were obtained through testing conducted on eighth grade students in junior high school. The results of the validation of teaching materials obtained were categorized as very valid with an average validity value of 88.64%. The results of the small group trial conducted on phase D students, the average obtained for the "very practical" category was 89.49%. In addition, the large-scale practicality test resulted in an average score of 88.01% in the "very practical" category. This shows that the use of a realistic mathematics approach in the content of the system of linear equations of two variables is very effective, because it can facilitate students' mathematical understanding skills. This teaching material is proven to be valid and practical, and can encourage the development of mathematical understanding of phase D students.
