Pengaruh Tanggung Jawab Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pengurus Ikatan Mahasiswa Minang Universitas Riau Pekanbaru
The aims of this study are (1) To determine the level of work responsibility in the Minang Student Association, Riau University, (2) To determine the level of performance of administrators in the Minang Student Association, Riau University, (3) To determine the influence of work responsibility on the performance of administrators of the Minang Student Association, Riau University, Pekanbaru.
This type of research is ex-post facto using a quantitative approach. The population of this study is the management of the Minang Student Association of Riau University, totaling 78 people. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling, which is a method of drawing from a population or universe in a certain way so that each member of the population or universe has the same opportunity to be selected or taken. By using the Slovin formula, the sample of this study is 65 management of the Minang Student Association of Riau University, Pekanbaru.
The research instrument consists of two forms of questionnaires, namely the work responsibility questionnaire (X) and the management performance questionnaire (Y). In writing this instrument, the writing goes through several stages, namely (1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied; (2) compiling indicators for each variable; (3) compiling a grid; (4) compiling question items and determining the measurement scale; (5) instrument trial; (6) analysis of question items by testing the validity and reliability of each question item.
The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive data analysis, hypothesis testing, looking for the influence of work responsibility variables on the performance of the Minang Student Association of Riau University Pekanbaru.
Based on the descriptive analysis of respondents on the performance variable of the Minang Student Association of Riau University administrators, a mean of 4.30 was obtained with a high interpretation. Then based on the demographics, the performance variable of the administrators obtained a mean value of 4.31 with a high interpretation. This proves that demographic factors (gender, position, study program, and faculty) can determine whether the performance of the Minang Student Association of Riau University Pekanbaru administrators is good or not. Based on the indicators, the highest mean value is cooperation with a mean value of 4.42 while the lowest mean value is the initiative indicator with a mean value of 4.25.
Based on the descriptive analysis of respondents on the work responsibility variable of the Minang Student Association of Riau University, a mean of 4.09 was obtained with a high interpretation. Then based on the demographics, the work responsibility variable obtained a mean value of 4.12 with a high interpretation. This proves that demographic factors (gender, position, study program, and faculty) can determine whether the work responsibility of the Minang Student Association of Riau University is good or not. Based on the indicators, the highest mean value is social responsibility with a mean value of 4.15 while the lowest mean value is the personal responsibility indicator with a mean value of 3.97.
The contribution of the influence between the variable of work responsibility (X) on the performance of the management (Y) of the Minang Student Association of Riau University, Pekanbaru, was obtained, which had a large influence, namely 17.6% with a very low interpretation, because there was still 82.4% determined by other factors that were not part of this research.
