Prarancangan Pabrik Asam Akrilat Dari Gliserol Proses Dehydration-Oxydation Dengan Desain Alat Utama Reaktor Oksidasi Akrolein (R-102)
ABSTRACT
Acrylic acid is one of the important materials used in industry, for example in the paint industry, polymers, hydroxyacrylates, coating formulations, adhesives, Superabsorbent Polymers (SAPs). The manufacture of acrylic acid in this factory uses the Dehydration-Oxydation process. This factory is planned to operate for 30 days per year and work continuously 24 hours/day with a capacity of 32.000 tons/year which will be established in the city of Bandar Lampung, Lampung. The company form chosen is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational system. The employee work system is based on the division of working hours consisting of shift and non-shift employees. The main equipment design in this factory is a Oxydation Reactor (R-102). Economic analysis in the design of this factory shows that this factory is feasible to build. Based on the results of the economic feasibility of the factory, a methyl methacrylate from methacrolein factory is feasible to be established with a PBP of 2,9 years, IRR of 22,71%, ROI of 24,26%, and BEP of 40,17%.
