Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Pupuk Batubara Non Subsidi Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity (Eoq) Pada Pt Agri Nutrisindo Niaga

PT Agri Nutrisindo Niaga is a company that provides non-subsidized coal fertilizer due to the incomplete allocation of subsidized fertilizer in Riau province in 2023. However, inventory control at PT Agri Nutrisindo Niaga in 2023 was inefficient because only used estimation methods. Inventory control is very important in companies to ensure the availability of sufficient goods to meet customer demand, and also avoid excessive storage costs. The aims of this research are: 1. To understand the coal fertilizer inventory management control implemented by PT Agri Nutrisindo Niaga. 2. To analyze the coal fertilizer inventory control using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This research uses a case study method. The respondents for this study are president director, operations director, sales staff, and financial staff of the company. The results show that inventory control at PT Agri Nutrisindo Niaga is not yet optimal due to excessive storage costs, amounting to Rp138,979,146/year. Based on the company's current method, in 2023, orders were placed for 10,195 units with a frequency of 14 times. The company does not implement safety stock and initiates reordering when warehouse inventory drops to 300-1,000 units. Meanwhile, the EOQ method suggests that company should order 2,993 units economically, with a frequency of 3 times/year. Reorder point should occur when warehouse inventory reaches 440 units, with a safety stock level of 725 units. The EOQ method can serve as an alternative inventory control method for fertilizer at PT Agri Nutrisindo Niaga, as it can generate savings of Rp92,623,154 or 67%.
