Rasionalisasi Orang Tua Bekerja Dalam Memberikan Kegiatan Bimbingan Belajar Pada Anak Usia Prasekolah (Studi Kasus Les Privat Zona Smart Education Di Pekanbaru)
Both parents working has become a common phenomenon nowadays. Young working parents with toddlers must pay attention to their child's development and golden age. This sense of responsibility is also felt among fellow working parents, leading to a recommended option among colleagues: tutoring activities for preschool-aged children at the private tutoring center, Zosmed. The research problem focuses on the rational reasons why working parents choose private tutoring and the outcomes achieved after selecting Zosmed. The purpose of this study is to understand the initial rationale for providing these activities and the results after the tutoring sessions for preschool-aged children. This type of research is classified as descriptive qualitative, utilizing purposive sampling techniques. The informants in this study are working parents who have enrolled their preschool-aged children in tutoring at Zosmed for more than one year, as well as one educator from Zosmed in Pekanbaru. To gather information, the researcher used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The results indicate that the rational reason for working parents to enroll their children in tutoring during preschool age is to fulfill their responsibility for stimulating and developing their children while they are working. The outcomes from these activities will be provided in a PDF file on Google Drive. Working parents often have limited opportunities to meet directly with educators. There are no serious demands for preschool activities as long as they are aligned with the appropriate stimulation for the child's age. The learning reports provided are not overly focused, as parents prefer to observe and experience their children's development firsthand.
