Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor-Faktor Produksi Padi Sawah Di Desa Raja Maligas 1 Kecamatanhutabayuraja Kabupaten Simalungun
Rajamaligas 1 Village is one of the centers of paddy production in Hutabayu Raja District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province, Rajamaligas 1 Village with a harvest area of 400 hectares and an average productivity of 6 tons/ha which contributes greatly to paddy production in Simalungun Regency. Paddy farming is the main source of income for the community in Rajamaligas 1 Village. This study aims to describe the management of paddy cultivation carried out by farmers, analyze the influence of production factors on paddy production and analyze the level of technical, price and economic efficiency in Rajamaligas 1 Village. This study was conducted in Rajamaligas 1 Village, Hutabayu Raja District, Simalungun Regency. Data analysis using survey methods, multiple linear regression analysis and deterministic Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approaches. The results of the study concluded that paddy cultivation management is mostly not in accordance with the management of paddy cultivation techniques on irrigated land, especially in terms of land area, seed use, fertilizer use, pesticides and labor. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that of the seven production factors used, only three production factors have a statistically significant effect on rice production, namely the amount of land area, the amount of seed use per hectare and the use of urea fertilizer per hectare, while four production factors that do not have a statistically significant effect on rice production are the amount of ZA fertilizer use per hectare, the amount of SP-36 fertilizer use per hectare and the use of labor per hectare. The results of the DEA deterministic approach analysis show that most farmers are technically efficient at 46%. Only a few farmers are efficient in terms of price (allocative) and economically with a percentage of 7%. The results of the business efficiency analysis recommend that farmers reduce the amount of production factor use to obtain efficient conditions.
