Gambaran Pola Bakteri Dan Resistensi Antibiotik Pada Pasien Luka Bakar Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2022 – Desember 2023
Burn is skin injury due to contact with heat and one of the major global public health problems. Most of burn pastients end up infectious complications and mortality rate higher in burn patients with infection. This study aims to determine the bacterial patterns and antibiotic resistance in burn patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Province for the period of January 2022 – December 2023. The method used in this study is descriptive retrospective study to obtain an overview of a condition. The sample of this study is data from 7 patients taken from medical record using total sampling method. The results show that most burn patients with microbial culture examination are in the age group 10 – 20 years (28.6%) and 31 – 40 years (28.6%), male (57.1%), total body surface area of burn 10 – 20% (42.9%), depth of burn in category second superficial degree (57.1%), and length of stay > 14 days (100%). All bacteria isolated from culture are Gram-negative bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (66.7%) is the most isolated. The result of antibiotic resistant show that the majority of the antibiotic have a high level of resistance to pathogenic bacteria. The result shows that all Gram-negative bacteria are resistant to Ciprofloxacine and Piperacillin/Tazobactam.
