This study aims to test and analyze the financial performance of local governments in regencies and cities of Riau province. The factors that influence the financial performance of local governments are local revenue, capital expenditure, balancing funds, and local government size. The population in this study were regencies and cities in Riau province, namely 12 regencies and cities. Sampling using saturated sampling method. The study used secondary data in the form of financial data from the LRA and LKPD of local governments in Riau province in 2018-2022 obtained from BPKAD and DJPK of the Ministry of Finance of Riau province. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that local own-source revenue, capital expenditure, balancing funds, and local government size have a significant effect on local government financial performance.
