Kontrol Sosial Masyarakat Perkotaan Terhadap Perilaku Menyimpang Remaja Di Objek Wisata Danau Buatan Kota Pekanbaru
Social control is a form of active social reaction against offenders who violate certain norms and rules. Social control in this research is carried out by local communities that have established communities called the Artificial Lake Residents and Youth Association. The deviant behavior in this research is carried out by teenage tourists at the Artificial Lake tourist attraction. This research aims to study the reactions and social control of community members to the deviant behavior of teenage visitors at the Artificial Lake tourist attraction, using Emile Durkheim's social control theory. This type of research is a field research. Considering the type of data analysis, it is included in the descriptive quantitative research according to the objectives. This research is an applied research with a survey method. The population in this study is all members of the Artificial Lake Residents and Youth Association community, namely 52 members. The entire population is used as a sample, that is, using the census sampling technique. The data is obtained by interviewing using a questionnaire. The collected data are calculated or determined by measuring the central tendency by taking the mean, mode, minimum and maximum values. The results show that repressive social control is the strongest level of social control carried out by community members. Because the community will use social control appropriately when deviant behavior occurs. Dating is a deviant behavior among teenage visitors with the most natural social reaction because they see this behavior as normal.
