Uji Konsentrasi Cendawan Entomopatogen Cordyceps militaris L. Fries Lokal terhadap Mortalitas Ulat Grayak Kedelai Spodoptera litura F. di Laboratorium
Spodoptera litura F. one of pest soybean plants. Control using local entomopathogenic fungi Cordyceps militaris is an effort to control S. litura using environmentally friendly materials so as to reduce synthetic chemical pesticides.
C. militaris has a cordycepin toxin that generally attacks larvae and pupae of the order Lepidoptera. The research was aimed to obtain the concentration of local entomopathogenic fungis C. militaris as a bioinsecticide against mortality of soybean armyworm S. litura in the laboratory. The research was canducted at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, in December until March 2024. The research is used a completely randomized design (CRD) of 6 treatments with 4 replications. The treatments were concentration of local
C. militaris 0 g.l-1water, 10 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 30 g.l-1 water, 40 g.l-1 water, and 50 g.l-1 water. The parameters for observation were initial time of death, lethal time 50%, lethal concentration, daily mortality, and total mortality. The results showed that local entomopathogenic fungi C. militaris is concentration of 40 g.l-1 of water with a conidia density of 18,1 × 107 con.ml-1 was best concentration for mortality S. litura and had included in a bioinsecticide category causing a total mortality of 77.5%, with the initial death time at 22 hours after the application and lethal time 50% at 50.25 hours after application. The exact concentration local entomopathogenic fungi C. militaris to control 50% of the population of S. litura is 1,24% or 12,4 g.l-1 of water.
