Pengaruh Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Dan Pupuk Kalium Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.)
This research used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) compost with three levels, namely T0= no EFB compost, T1= 10 t.ha-1 EFB compost, T2= 15 t.ha-1 EFB compost. The second factor is the provision of KCl fertilizer with three levels, namely, K0= without KCl fertilizer, K1= 100 kg.ha-1 , K2= 150 kg.ha-1 . The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, appearance of male flowers, appearance of female flowers, weight of husked cobs, weight of cobs without cobs, age at harvest, ear length and ear diameter. The data obtained were analyzed using various types of molds and further tested by DNMRT at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that the combination of giving a dose of 15 t.ha-1 EFB compost and 150 kg.ha-1 of KCl fertilizer gave the best results in the parameters of plant height, stem diameter, time for male flowers to appear, time for female flowers to appear, weight of husky cobs, weight of cobs. without husks, cob length and cob diameter of sweet corn plants of the Bonanza F1 variety. Providing 15 t.ha-1 EFB single factor compost gave the best results on the parameters of height, stem diameter, time for male flowers to appear, time for female flowers to appear, weight of cobs with husks, weight of cobs without husks, cob length and cob diameter of sweet corn plants. Varieties Bonanza F1. Application of KCl single factor fertilizer at a dose of 150 kg.ha-1 gave the best results in the parameters of plant height, height, stem diameter, time for male flowers to appear, time for female flowers to appear, weight of cobs with husks, weight of cobs without husks, ear length and plant ear diameter. sweet corn Bonanza F1 variety.
