Persepsi Konsumen Terhadap Ikan Laut Di Pasar Selasa Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to analyze consumer perceptions of sea fish at Pasar Selasa Panam, Pekanbaru City, focusing on four main indicators, namely quality, availability, price, and nutrition. The research method used is a survey with a case study approach, involving 30 respondents selected by accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed using a Likert scale. The results showed that consumer perceptions of sea fish at Pasar Selasa Panam were overall in the "good" category (total score 2,366). The quality of sea fish obtained the highest score (633, "very good" category), followed by nutrition (598), availability (569), and price (566). Consumer characteristics were dominated by the 31-40 year age group (40%), high school education (43.3%), and income of 2-4 million rupiah per month (40%). These findings provide important implications for traders, market managers, and the government in improving marketing strategies, infrastructure, and trade policies for sea fish in traditional markets.
