Pengaruh Ownership Structure, Dominant Owner Ceo, Dan Business Strategy Terhadap Firm Performance Pada Perusahaan Barang Konsumen Primer Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2020-2023
ABSTRACT
Firm performance is the condition of a company during a certain period due to the
company's operational activities. Stakeholders tend to support good firm
performance, because it can provide opportunities for companies to offer better
products or services and have more competitive and superior prices. This study
aims to analyze the effect of ownership structure consisting of institutional
ownership and domestic ownership, dominant owner CEO, and business strategy
on firm performance as measured by ROA in Consumer Non-Cyclicals company
listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. This research is a
quantitative study using secondary data sourced from financial reports and annual
reports. The population used is Consumer Non-Cyclicals companies in 2020-2023.
The sampel was taken using purposive sampling technique so that 74 companies
were obtained and a total of 271 samples. The analysis technique used is descriptive
analysis, classical assumption test with multicollinearity test, as well as regression
test and t-stat test using STATA 17 Software. The result of this study indicate that
domestic ownership and business strategy have a positive and significant effect on
ROA, while institutional ownership and dominant owner CEO have a positive and
insignificant effect on ROA.
