Analisis Perbandingan Stabilitas Lereng Antara Metode Limit Equilibrium Dan Finite Elemen (Studi Kasus: Lereng Perumahan Derofizha Permata Indrapuri Pekanbaru)
ABSTRACT
A slope is a land surface that makes a certain angle to the horizontal plane, causing
a slope. Slopes that have a crucial slope need to be analyzed for slope stability. The
purpose of this study, is a comparative analysis of the slope safety factor between
the limit equilibrium method (Limite Equilibrium Method) and the finite element
method (Finite Element Method) in terms of the slope safety factor. The methods
used include field observation, primary and secondary data collection, analysis
using 2 methods of limit equilibrium and finite element and comparing the results
of the safety factor analysis. The results of the analysis obtained using the limit
equilibrium method show the state of the slope at a height of 2.6-4.75 m in a safe
state except at a height of 4.8 m with a safety factor of 1.117. While the finite
element method at a height of 2.6-3 m is safe, while the critical or unstable state of
the slope starts from a height of 3.12-4.8 m with a safety factor range of 1.038-
1.225. The percentage comparison of the two analysis methods is 11.22%. So that
of the two methods, the finite element method has more critical results than the limit
equilibrium method. This finding causes the analysis results using the finite element
method to be closer to the situation in the field.
