Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Dengan Self Efficacy Sebagai Variabel Mediasi Di Pt. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah Pekanbaru Cabang Utama
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and transformational
leadership style on employee performance, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable
at PT. Bank Riau Kepri Syariah, Main Branch Pekanbaru. The research employed a
quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 68 respondents, and data were
analyzed using SPSS through linear regression and path analysis. The results showed
that emotional intelligence and transformational leadership style did not have a
significant direct effect on performance. However, both variables had a significant
effect on self-efficacy, and self-efficacy significantly influenced employee
performance. Nevertheless, self-efficacy was not proven to significantly mediate the
relationship between emotional intelligence or transformational leadership and
employee performance. This study indicates that the mediating role of self-efficacy in
linking the two independent variables to performance is not statistically strong.
