ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in entrepreneurship
education, personality, entrepreneurial mindset, and entrepreneurial interest
between accounting and economics students. To determine the effect of
entrepreneurship education, personality, and entrepreneurial mindset partially and
simultaneously on entrepreneurial interest of students majoring in accounting and
economics. The population of this study were students of the Department of
Accounting and Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University.
The sample of this study amounted to 218. Sampling using krejcie morgan. While
the data management method used in this research is multiple linear regression
analysis using SPSS version 16. for windows. The results of this study indicate that
entrepreneurship education and personality partially affect the interest in
entrepreneurship, while the entrepreneurial mindset partially does not affect the
interest in entrepreneurship. Based on the simultaneous test of entrepreneurship
education, personality, and entrepreneurial mindset affect the interest in
entrepreneurship.
