The research about the giving of liquid complement manure of plant
catalyst 2006 and harmonic growth regulator substance at Jarak Pagar seed
(Jatropha Curcas L) at Attempt Garden Field of Agriculture Faculty, Riau
University at Bina Widya Street, Pekanbaru is executed during 4 months started
from August until November 2007. The purpose of this research is to determine
the best concentration of liquid complement manure of plant catalyst 2006 and
harmonic growth regulator substance at Jarak Pagar seed (Jatropha Curcas L).
This research is using the Complete Random Device (CRD) as factorial i.e. Factor
P (the concentration of liquid complement manure of plant catalyst 2006) which
consists of 4 levels. P0= without the giving of liquid complement manure of plant
catalyst 2006, P1= with the giving of liquid complement manure of plant catalyst
2006 1.25 g/liter water, P2= with the giving of liquid complement manure of plant
catalyst 2006 2.5 g/liter water, P3= with the giving of liquid complement manure
of plant catalyst 2006 3.75 g/liter water. Factor H (the concentration of Harmonic
Substance) which consists of 4 levels, H0= without the Harmonic Substance, H1=
with the Harmonic Substance 1 cc/liter water, H2= with the Harmonic Substance 2
cc/liter water, H3= with the Harmonic Substance 3 cc/liter water. The parameters
which been observed are the seed height, the leaf width, the plant growth rate
(PGR) and the root protrude ratio. The research result shows that the combination
between liquid complement manure of plant catalyst 2006 treatment 2.5 g/liter
water and Harmonic Substance 2 cc/liter water can improve the parameter of leaf
width compared to other parameters. The single factor treatment of liquid
complement manure of plant catalyst 2006 2.5 g/liter water can improve the leaf
width compared to other parameters. The treatment of harmonic substance 2
cc/liter water can improve the parameter of leaf width compared to other
parameters.
