Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Menjaga Kelestarian Hutan Larangan Kenegerian Rumbio Kabupaten Kampar
In the Kampar regency of Kampar district there is a communal forest area called the Forest
Prohibition Kenegerian Rumbio covering 530 ha. Although Affairs Rumbio broken down into
five villages in the government but the country rumbio customarily remain in a customs union
led by Kenegerian Rumbio ninik mamak which ten consisting of five tribes that Pitopang Tribe,
Tribe Piliang, Domo Tribe, Tribe and Ethnic Chaniago Kampar, where of the ten ninik mamak is
externally led by Datuok Godang of the tribe Domo, is internally led by Datuok Ulaksimano of
the tribe Pitopang. Until now, the prohibition of forest condition is still quite awake and
sustainable, there are many different types of trees that the age of twenty years. The purpose of
this study was to determine the level of community participation in conserving the forests
Kenegerian Rumbio ban, while also to find out what factors influence community participation
in maintaining the ban forest. The method used in this study is a survey method, data collection
techniques that is by interview to obtain primary data. This type of interview is an interview
conducted semiterstruktur with reasons for respondents not only provide information but can also
deliver opinions with a more . Data analysis is a descriptive analysis which is done through three
activities, namely the flow of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.
The results of this study indicate that fairly good level of community participation in conserving
the forest ban, this is because the community has been realized with good will for the life of the
forest which has been behind many economic benefits. Besides internal factors that influence
people's participation there is also an external factor is the role of pioneer ninik mamak and
foundations are quite persistent with calls on people to do good for forest conservation in the
Phase of the (invesment) as well as monitoring the forest.
Ban forest for Kenegerian Rumbio remain stable in the future, the role ninik mamak, village
officials and foundations need to be increased again a pioneer in conducting enrichment in
forests that can work together with governments and other stakeholders. In addition, with the
increasing number of productive age population from year to year and can threaten the
sustainability of the forest, we could evaluate the level of community economics and provide
programs of social economy
