Uji Beberapa Dosis Tricho-Kompos Untuk Mengendalikan Penyakit Bercak Daun Pada Pembibitan Awal Kelapa Sawit
The quality of oil palm seedlings is one of the determinants of growth and crop production in the field. The better quality oil palm seeds the better the plant growth and is expected to be higher the production of fruit produced. Pathogen attack may lead to reduced quality and quantity of oil palm seedlings and subsequently may affect the growth and production of oil palm plantations.
One of the biological agents used were the fungus Trichoderma sp that can be applied in the form of compost (Tricho-compost). Tricho-compost compost is produced from the decomposition of organic matter by Trichoderma sp. Trichoderma sp. which is in the compost can serve as decomposers and also can inhibit the growth of pathogens directly and indirectly. Induction of resistance that can control the attack invading pathogens on leaves (filoplan pathogens).
Research carried out experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Each repeat consists of two seeds (2 polybag) in order to get 24 polybag. The treatments used were Tricho-doses of compost (T), namely 0 g Tricho-kompos/kg soil (T0), 25 g Tricho-kompos/kg soil (T1), 50 g Tricho-kompos/kg soil (T2), Tricho-kompos/kg 75 g soil (T3). The data obtained were statistically analyzed using variance and tested further by Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5%.
