Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif Tipe Three-Stage Fishbowl Decision Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Struktur Atom Dan Sistem Periodik Unsur Di Kelas Xi Ipa Sma Negeri 3 Pekanbaru
The reserch on application of active learning strategy type three-stage fishbowl decision has been done to know improvement of student’s achievement on the topic of atomic structure and periodic system of unsure in class XI Science SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Form of reserch is experimental based on pretest-posttest reserch design. Data was taken on August to September 2013. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 1 class as experiment group and XI IPA 4 class as control group that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. The testing criteria research hypothesis accepted if tcount situated between -ttable and ttable (-ttable < tcount < ttable), where ttable obtained from the distribution list t based on dk = n1 + n2 - 2 with probability 1 - ½ α (α = 0.05), then both of samples said to be homogeneous. At the experiment group applied the active learning strategy type three-stage fishbowl decision, while at control group applied the method of information and interview. Analysis of data used t-test. The testing criteria research hypothesis accepted if tcount > ttable where ttable obtained from the disribusion list t based on dk = n1 + n2 - 2 with α = 0.05. Results of data processing obtained tcount > ttable (4,34 > 1,67). It means that the application of active learning strategy type three-stage fishbowl decision can improve student’s achievement on the topic of atomic structure and periodic system of unsure in class XI Science SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The improvement of student’s achievement in experiment group was supported by N-Gain score 0,82 that included in high category.
