Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit Setelah 8 Bulan Pemberian Trichoderma Viride Dan Dregs Dengan Beberapa Waktu Aplikasi Pada Medium Gambut
Palm oil (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) is a plant that has high economic value
because it is a vegetable oil producing crops. In Indo~ palm oil is a commodity to
be excellent for development. Coconut oil is highly significant in increasing the
national income and is also capable of creating employment opportunities for the
community. At this time the availability of land reserves for agricultural high element
decreases due to land conversion, so the soil has low nutrient reserves become an
alternative to be utilized, one of which is peat. Utilization of peat soils have
wealcnesses include bigh levels of acidity (low pH) and the long process of
decomposition. One way to overcome the acidity of the peat soil is by providing
materials soil amelioration Dregs derived from paper mill waste, and to accelerate the
process of decomposition of organic matter of peat soil was done by giving
microorganisms such as fungi Trichoderma wide (T. viride). Use of waste in the
cultivation of plants need to be considered an appropriate dose and time used for
wastewater applications. Nutrient availability from organic fertilizers is to gradually
so that it can be a reserve of nutrients in the soil or have any residual effect. The
purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction over time and Dregs
T. viride applications, the influence of the main factors ofT. Viride, the influence of
the main factors Dregs after eight months and Dregs T. viride application on the
growth of oil palm seedlings in the peat medium. This research was conducted in a
factorial experiment using Randomized Block Design (RBD) that consists of two
factors. The first factor is the time of application T. viride and the second factor is the
time of application Dregs, each factor consisting of four levels in order to get 16
combinations with three replications, in order to obtain 48 experimental units. The
parameters used were the increase in height of sewDings, stump diameter increment,
the number of midrib of leaf, canopy dry weight, root dry weight and ratio of crown
root and supporting the observation that the ratio C IN, soil pH and soil temperature
measurements. If there is significant data on the analysis of variance test followed by
Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMR"D level of 5%. Results of this study
indicate that some timeT. applications viride and Dregs no effect on the parameters
of the increase in height of ~li~ stump diameter increment, canopy dry weight,
root dry weight and ratio of crown roots, whereas the main factor time Dregs
influential application of high-added parameters in the number of Sf'ftilinp and leaf
midrib showed the best result in granting Dregs at the age of 21 days before planting.
The main factor when applications T. viride significant effect on dry weight of
canopy parameters with the best application time is seven days prior to planting.
