Analisis Pengaruh Penyuluhan Terhadap Keberdayaan Petani Karet Pola Swadaya Di Kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of counseling on the empowerment of rubber farmers self-help pattern in Rambah Hilir District Rokan Hulu Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method and structural equation modeling (SEM) method. The sample selection method uses a non-probability sampling technique, a technique in which every element (member) of the population is not given the same opportunity to be selected as a sample member. The number of samples in this study were 120 farmers of self-help rubber pattern in Rambah Hilir sub-district. The results showed the role of extension (X) with a score of 3.00 in the category “enough role”. Farmers empowerment level (Y) with a score of 2.83 is in the category of “quite empowered” and the purpose of counseling (Z) with a score of 2.79 is in the category is ”quite achieved”. The role of counseling directly affects the level of empowerment of self-help rubber farmers and the level of empowerment of farmers has a direct effect on the achievement of extension objectives covering better farming, better business and better living. It can be concluded that the role of extension workers significantly influence the empowerment of self-help rubber farmers and the empowerment of rubber farmers in self-help patterns significantly influence the achievement of extension objectives in Rambah Hilir sub-district of Rokan Hulu Regency.
