This study aims to improve speaking skills through role play in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Hope Playground Sibabat village. The subjects were children aged 4-5 years in the academic year 2015-2016 which amounted to 10 children consisting of four daughters and six sons of this study conducted in Prasiklus and 2 cycles, each cycle follows the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection , The study found that concerns about the ability to speak the child through role play can enhance children's ability to speak very effective if supported by the following conditions: The ability of teachers to create lesson plans based on the method of playing the role and involvement of children in a fun activity in the game.
