Pola Penggunaan Obat Pada Pasien Rawat Intensif Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Juli – Desember 2015
Critically ill patients in the ICU had a organ dysfunction or more, so they are dependent on sophisticated equipment, monitoring and therapy. One of the type for therapy in the ICU is medication. The aim of this study was to observe the pattern of medication in patients ICU Arifin Achmad General Hospital from July to December 2015. This study was a descriptive retrospective study with secondary sample from medical record. There were 150 samples that fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Profile patients in the ICU were male patients comparable with female patients. 56-65 years old were the common group age that hospitalized in the ICU (22,6%). Length of stay were 1-7 days (68%). JKN was the most widely used for payment (72.7%). Eighty five patients were improved and moved to other room (56.7%). The major diagnosis of admission in the ICU was post surgery (22%). Antiinfection were the most prescibed category of medication in ICU (18.8%). The number of prescription were 6-10 drug (40.7%). Parenteral administration was the most common route for administration (85.74%). Duration of therapy were 1-7 days with the number of 1289 drugs (94%).
