Motivasi Uni Eropa Menerapkan Kebijakan Anti Dumping Terhadap Impor Baja Cold Rolled Flat Asal Tiongkok Tahun 2016
The focus of this research is to analyze the EU's motivation to impose anti dumping duty on People’s Republic Of China (PRC) Cold Rolled Flat Steel products in 2016. During the investigation period the European Committee found the practice of dumping on Cold Rolled Flat steels imported from China and there was injury to the EU domestic industry.
This research used a descriptive of qualitative method, with nation - state analysis, and protectionism theory in mercantilism perspective. To analyze the case, the authors collected data from EU books, journals, websites, dictionaries, and final reports on the final determination of Anti-dumping investigations into the import of Cold Rolled Flat steel products from China and Russia
The results of this study show that the EU imposed the imposition of anti-dumping duties on imported Cold Rolled Flat steel products from China to protect the EU's domestic steel producers from injury. On 9 October 2016 the European Commission imposed anti-dumping duties on imported Cold Rolled Flat steel from China which was released in The Official Journal of the European Commission. As a result, China's Nanjing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd has been imposed the provisional dumping duty of 73.1%, MinmetalsYingkou Medium Plate Co., Ltd. of 65.4%, and Wuyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Wuyang New Heavy & Wide Steel Plate Co., Ltd. amounted to 73.2%.
