Hubungan Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Problem Based Learning dengan Hasil Belajar pada Mata Ajar Keperawatan
Abstract
Problem based learning (PBL) is a method of learning with student centered approach. Changing education system from teacher centered learning to student centered learning may cause different experiences for students. It creates different perception for students. This study aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of problem-based learning with learning outcomes in nursing subjects. This study used descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. This study was conducted in the Faculty of Nursing University of Riau with 175 samples which selected using total sampling technique. Questionnaire was used to collect data and has been validated. Data were analysed using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using Chi-square test. The results of this study showed that is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of problem based learning with learning outcomes of IDK II with p value (0,02) < α (0,05) and on the subject of Communication in Nursing I with p value (0,009) < α (0.05). The results of this study showed that problem based learning method give the learning experiences and can improve learning outcomes in nursing subjects.
