The development of electronic commerce business in Subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota creates a condition where every trading company competes with each other through price competition, advertisement, pressure from new company entering market and others. With the number of electronic commerce businesses operating in Pekanbaru Kota subdistrict, the possibility of unhealthy competition could happen, one of them by doing a monopoly action where the company is trying to dominate the market completely. Market externality allows a company with market power to use that power to destroy its competitors in an unfair way. The purpose of this research is to know the market structure, conduct and performance of electronic commerce business in Subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota. This research is conducted in electronic commerce business in the district Pekanbaru Kota. The purpose of this research is to know the structure, conduct, and performance of electronic trading business in Subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota. The analytical model used to examine the development of electronic commerce business in Subdistrict Pekanbaru Kota is by using Structure - Conduct - Performance approach. The market structure in electronic commerce business in Pekanbaru sub district is oligopoly market structure. The conduct of electronic commerce business in Pekanbaru subdistrict is capital intensive.
