Pengembangan Instrumen Diagnosis Kesulitan Belajar Peserta Didik Sma Pada Materi Asam Basa Dengan Menggunakan Model Ordered Multiple Choice (OMC) Berbasis Attribute Hierarchy Model (AHM)
The purpose of this study is to: (1) develop an Order Multiple Choice (OMC) instrument based on the Attribute Hierarchy Method (AHM) for the diagnosis of acid-base learning difficulties, (2) determine the characteristics of the instrument, and (3) create a diagnostic profile of individual student. This study uses the development Borg & Gall model. Preliminary study produces one of the difficult subjects, namely acid base. Indicators and formulation of questions were examined by three chemists to prove the validation of the contents with the Aiken formula. Limited-scale trials and large-scale trials were conducted in high, medium and low school categories in Pekanbaru.
The results of the study showed: (1) the study succeeded in developing the Ordered Multiple Choice instrument (OMC) to detect learners' difficulties in acid-base material; (2) OMC items have good construct validity. The value of Corrected Item-Total Correlation> 0.5 is 0.521-0.836. Reliable instrument with the value of Cronbach's Alpha> 0.6 which is 0.965 (3) profiles of students in the form of diagnostic reports about attributes that have been mastered and not yet mastered by students.
