Strategi Pengembangan Industri Kreatif Di Kota Pekanbaru ( Sub Sektor : Percetakan Undangan )
This research aims to describethe development strategyof industry invitation printing Pekanbaru city.The population in this study is registered invitation printing from Department of Industry and Commerce in Pekanbaru city and total is 108 invitation printing Pekanbaru city . This study took a sample of 17 outlets invitation printing in city of Pekanbaru. The variables in this study is raw quality product, market, SDM and technology. Data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation with likert scale conducted in the place of invitation printing in Pekanbaru city. The analisys method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and SWOT analysis. The main strength of the good management industry, the quality of products and the technology used by invitation printing entrepreneurs and also capital prepared by this business actor is very good. The weaknesses are innovation and product renewal and also lack of use use media social internet for advertising and promoting activities. The invitation printing industry oppurtinity is very good, namely a stable economics condition and a very high lifestyle for invitation printing services. For threats in the industry, it is easy to enter new comers in this industry.On the result of this study indicate that the studiophotos inPekanbaru is in quadrant I is an aggressive strategy. This quadrant is a very profitable situation, this position of a businesses has a strong position and which have opportunity to grow. The right strategy of invitation printing in Pekanbaru is S-O, that is strategy which have opportunity and power so that can exploit existing opportuny.
