Peranan Bantuan Pemerintah Terhadap Perkembangan Industri Mebel Rotan Di Kecamatan Rumbai Kota Pekanbaru

This research was conducted in Rumbai sub-district, Pekanbaru, where there are rattan industry centers along Yos Sudarso Road. The purpose this study was to determine the role government assistance in increasing the production rattan entrepreneurs in this study taking a sample of 21 respondents of rattan entrepreneurs. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method using Paired Difference Test analysis The t-test method is used to compare the average two data sets (before and after) in pairs. Based on the results of this study, it shows that from the three assistance the government has given to the rattan handicraft industry in Rumbai sub-district, Pekanbaru, the average affects the production rattan handicraft industry. The amount production of the rattan furniture industry has experienced a difference before or after being given assistance, the amount this production has increased after being given assistance. This indicates a good change after being given assistance by the government specifically for the assistance of production machinery, capital and seminar and counseling assistance.
