Aplikasi Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskula (Fma) Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Kedelai (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill) Di Tanah Ultisol
Soybean is one of the most popular agricultural commodities in Indonesia, but the production of soybean in Riau is still low, therefore it is necessary to do an agricultural extensification efforts in the form of marginal land development. The research aim to determine the effect and get the best dose of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) in Ultisol medium for increasing the growth and yield of soybean. The research was conducted at Experimental Garden, Laboratory of Soil Science and Laboratory of Plant Eco-physiology, Agriculture Faculty, Universitas Riau from January to May 2019. The research was done experimentally using Completely Randomize Design (CRD) with treatment of AMF. The treatment consist of 5 levels, that are: without AMF, 4 g/polybag, 8 g/polybag, 12 g/polybag and 16 g/polybag. the treatment were repeated 4 times so there were 20 experimental units and each treatment consist of 3 polybags, so there were 60 polybags in total. The observation parameters were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANNOVA) and continued by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at level 5%. The result of the research showed that the treatment of AMF increased the growth and yield of soybean plants on observation parameters of percentage of infected roots, number of effective root nodules, number of total root nodules, percentage of effective root nodules, plant height, number of productive branches, days of flowering, number of flowers, days of harvest, percentage of pithy pods, number of seeds per plant, seed weight per plant and harvest index except on size per seed and protein content of soybean seeds. The best dose of AMF was 12 g/polybag.
