: Parking area problems at General Regional Hospital of Dumai City, is a phenomenon that deserves to be explored. The urgency of the parking space reurement becomes a priority when there is insufficient land available to accommodate vehicles entering the parking area. In addition to the need to evaluate the requirement of parking lost, evaluation of the level of safety, behavior and parking facilities are also important. The exsistence of this evaluation is expected to provide an alternative solution to problems with parking problems in the area of General Regional Hospital of Dumai City. This research was carried out in three phases. The first phases was the measurement of parking lots and the area of the parking area of 1.000m² for motorcycles and 1.125m² for cars. Evaluation of parking requirement indicates that the parking area available for each characteristic of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehichles entering the hospital area. Additional parking markings and changes in exit gate position – enter as alternatives. Evaluation of security issues, behavior problems, and parking facilities shows the level of security and visitor behavior are still quite good. Facilities and inadequate parking area are supported by the results of evaluation of the need for parking.
