Hubungan Kadar Gula Darah Dengan Keseimbangan Cairan Pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

Diabetes Mellitus is heterogen abnormalities that characterized by hyperglycemia.
Increased blood glucose level will cause dehydration. The purpose of this research was to
know the correlation between blood glucose level with fluid balance on patient with
diabetics mellitus type 2. The designed of this research was quantitative research with
cross sectional approach. The sample were 28 respondents that chased by inclusion criteria
used purposive sampling technique. Instrument used observation sheet. The analysis was
univariate to know the frequency of distribution and bivariate used chi square test α (0,05).
The result showed there was correlation between blood glucose level with fluid balance on
patient with diabetics mellitus type 2 (p value 0,006). Based on the results of the study was
expected for health services can provided information and identify fluid balance problems
in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Therefore, it can prevent further complications,
one of which is chronic kidney failure.
