Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Ph Air Kolam Pembibitan Ikan Patin Menggunakan Modul Gsm 900a Berbasis Arduino

Design of monitoring ph pool water of catfish breeding using GSM 900A module on arduino. The purpose of this research is to design a monitoring system to support catfish breeders in knowing the acidic and alcali pH levels water. Arduino Nano is a programmable tool for processing water pH sensor reading data. The workings of this tool is, when the pH sensor which is an input is put in water, then the pH sensor will detect the acidic base of a water and then the sensor output signal will be treated with a signal conditioner, then will be sent to Arduino. Arduino will process the signal and give an output in the form of a pH value on the LCD display. When the pH of the pool water is outside the normal limit that has been set pH 8, Arduino will give a high command and the buzzer will ring, and Arduino sends an SMS alert to the breeder’s cellphone number via the GSM 900A module. And the GSM 900A module will also send actual data if it gets an SMS command from the breeder’s cellphone number. Tests that have been carried out produce a tool the acidic acid levels of water is well. Comparison of the pH value resulting from testing this tool with a digital pH sensor has an error of 3.06%.
