Pengaruh Teknik Assertive Training Untuk Meningkatkan Self Esteem Siswa Melalui Bimbingan Kelompok Di SMK Labor Binaan Fkip Unri Pekanbaru
Self-esteem is a comprehensive assessment, which reviews positives and negatives. Self-esteem is also interpreted as most of us like ourselves. However, there is a low self-esteem that makes students feel inferior about relationships, not confident, self-blame caused by being criticized harshly, ignoring, even forcing something to perfect. One way to increase this low self-esteem is through assertive training techniques through group guidance. The purpose of this study was to study the description of students' self-esteem before and after being given assertive technical training. This type of research is a quantitative study using experimental methods using one group pretest-posttest design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the self-esteem measurement scale consisting of 50 items before validation, and after the validity obtained valid items as many as 31 items with validity of 0.300 and reliability of 0.893. The subjects of this study amounted to 7 students of Vocational School Workers guided by FKRI UNRI Pekanbaru who were identified with low self-esteem.
